Airlines in India will resume operations; but loss-recovery can take a decade

With coronavirus-induced nationwide lockdown and the flying ban later imposed has grounded 80% of the civilian aircraft in the top six airports of India - Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Chennai. 538 aircraft out of the total 650 are parked at airports. No clear indications and instructions from the government yet on when and how will the flying ban get lifted. Apr 29, 2020
