Narendra Modi meets Rajinikanth in Chennai

Chennai, April 13 (ANI): BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Sunday met superstar Rajinikanth at his Chennai residence. BJP leaders had in the past hoped that the party gets some support from the cine star, who has a wide appeal not just in Tamil Nadu but in other states as well. The party has, however, termed it to be a "personal meeting" between the duo. New Delhi, April 13 (ANI): Politicos condemned Samajwadi party leader Azam Khan's remark on Election Commission, wherein he claimed that the commission is unfair and is working on Congress' behest. BJP leader Subramanian Swamy said that Khan thinks if a commission is not speaking in his favour, its with under party. Militants attack NC Youth leader Yavar Masoodi's house in J and K

Pulwama, April 13 (ANI): A militant attack killed two police personnel on Sunday when militants attacked the house of ruling National Conference youth leader Yavar Masoodi in Pulwama district of Kashmir. The militants attacked the house of Masoodi and opened fire at his house. During a brief encounter, the militants were killed and the police gun was recovered. Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) South Kashmir, Vijay Kumar said that the militants were killed in a brief encounter when the police chased them in a nearby field. Apr 13, 2014

YSR Congress Party releases their election manifesto

Hyderabad, April 13 (ANI): YSR Congress Chief Jaganmohan Reddy along with other party leaders released its manifesto on Sunday for the Lok Sabha polls in Hyderabad. The party released two separate manifestoes for the two states- Telangana and Seemandhra to be formed out of Andhra Pradesh.
