Coimbatore, Aug 11 (ANI): To show his love for his motherland, a goldsmith belonging to Coimbatore city of Tamil Nadu designed the world's smallest flag made of gold. The goldsmith, UMT Raja said that he made the miniature version of the Indian flag using only 4 mg of gold, making it the smallest in the world. Besides the flag, Raja also made a miniature model depicting the Indian freedom movement using gold, which includes the Indian flag and a model of great freedom fighter Mahatma Gandhi. Police arrest Maoist in Jharkhand

Latehar, Aug 11 (ANI): Police arrested a Maoist in Latehar district in the red corridor of Jharkhand. The Maoist, Mukesh Kumar Yadav, is the area commander of a rebel outfit, People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) and was arrested after police received secret information. Briefing media persons, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Rosan Gudiya said that it is big achievement for police as Yadav was booked under multiple cases of dacoity, killings and kidnappings. Police also seized a home made country pistol and two revolvers from Yadav. Uttarkashi, Aug 11 (ANI): Police rescued a 10-year-old child who was swept away by the torrential flow of the river Assi Ganga in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. The child was bathing in the river with his three friends when there was a sudden increase in the water level due to rain. While the three other children escaped, one child was carried away around 100 metres due to the strong currents.
