J&K government admits encroachment of over 3 lakh kanal of state land across UT

Jammu and Kashmir government has acknowledged that over 3 lakh kanals of state land, valued at Rs 18,049 crore, have been encroached across the Union Territory. The government has so far retrieved 15,39,662 kanals of illegally occupied land, with eviction proceedings underway for the remaining 3,13,645 kanals.
