Indo-US joint military exercise underway in foothills of Himalayas

Ranikhet, Sep 29 (ANI): The annual Indo-US joint military exercise 'Yudh Abhyas' focusing on combined training events within three key elements of command post exercise, field training exercise and expert academic exchanges is underway in the foothills of Himalayas in Ranikhet district of Uttarakhand. Focusing on tactical and technical skills in countering insurgency and militancy, Indian and U.S army officials started the joint exercise on Monday. The troops of both the side will train, plan and execute a series of combined strategic drills for neutralization of likely threats that may be encountered in UN peace keeping operations. New Delhi, Sept 29 (ANI): John Cleese's autobiography has revealed that he lost his virginity at the age of 24 while touring New Zealand with the Cambridge Circus. He revealed in one of the autobiography's extract that was published in Sunday Times Magazine revealed that it was a very asexual atmosphere where he came from and girls just weren't around, an online portal reported. The money donated will be returned to the owners, who consider it auspicious to donate currency so that their businesses remain fruitful and earn revenue during the year. Meanwhile, Kolkata is filled with pandals, housing beautiful idols of Goddess Durga, where devotees are immersed in the festivities. Organisers of the Ekdalia Evergreen pandal adorned their idols with pure gold ornaments as crowds thronged to worship them. It is believed that the Goddess Durga makes her annual visit to the world during Durga Puja and the festivities are meant to welcome her.
