Gurgaon, Nov 23 (ANI): Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2014 which started on 15th November from Hyderabad had come to Gurgaon for its second stop. The evening saw the presence of Bollywood Actor Boman Irani along with actress Esha Gupta. The 55 year old actor was brought in as a style blender for the evening. Ace fashion designers Rocky S and Neeta Lulla showcased their exquisite collection on Day 1 of Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2014. And Bollywood beauty Esha Gupta sashayed down the runway as showstopper in a beautiful golden dress by Neeta Lulla. The next pit stop of the fashionable tour will be Mumbai and Bengaluru and the tour will end in Kolkata on 13th December, 2014.

Shaina NC says she is confused if Mayawati is 'he or she', women activists condemn

New Delhi, Nov 23 (ANI): Women rights activists on Sunday condemned BJP spokesperson Shaina NC who took a jibe at former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati by saying that she is confused whether the BSP chief is 'he' or 'she'. She said this while participating in Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) event at Jaipur. AIPWA Secretary Kavita Krishnan said that this is anti-women statement by a spokesperson of ruling party. She also said that such statement implies that a woman who does not wear saree or have short hair is somewhat not womanly enough. She also said that the BJP should take cognizance of this and should confront her. National Federation of Indian Women General Secretary Annie Raja said that this is not correct and highly condemnable and very insulting on the part of a ruling party's representative.

PM to visit Nepal on 25th Nov to attend 18th SAARC Summit part - 2

New Delhi, Nov 23 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be visiting Nepal on 25th November to attend the 18th SAARC summit. MEA spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin stated that PM Modi would lay out his vision of what he sees as regional cooperation in South Asian region during the summit. He added that India’s intention would be to hold as many bilateral interactions as possible during Modi’s stay in Kathmandu. He also added that India’s focus would be on enhancement of connectivity and people-to-people contact.

Security Expert eyes on Indian govt's actions on Dawood's relation with Pakistan

New Delhi, Nov 23 (ANI): Supporting Home Minister Rajnath Singh who alleged that Pakistan is providing shelter to Dawood Ibrahim and the mob boss is currently staying along the Pak-Afghan border, Security Expert Praful Bakshi said that Dawood has always tried to participate in terror activities in India. Bakshi said that Dawood aiding to underworld is an old story and that Pakistan is aiding him because he has more connections and sleeping shells. He said that Pakistan of course is giving shelter to Dawood for help and it is to be seen what the he does and what the Indian government does.

Two Catholics from Kerala declared saints in Vatican

Thrissur, Nov 23 (ANI): Masses came out on streets of Kerala on Sunday after a Carmelite priest, Chavara Elias Kuriakose, and a Carmelite nun, Euphrasia Eluvathingal, from the state were declared as saints in Saint Peter's Square in Vatican City by Pope Francis. The news has elated the Christian community in Kerala as it is for the first time that two Indians are declared as saints on the same day. People from far flung areas are rushing to a chapel in a small village of Ollur, the burial place of Euphrasia, near Thrissur district to have a glimpse of her. Scores of Indian priests, nuns and devotees thronged Vatican to witness the canonisation function. Post the canonisation ceremony, the centuries-old Syro Malabar Church will now have three saints, the first being Sister Alphonsa, who was made a saint in 2008.
