New Delhi, Nov 24 (ANI): Politicos reacted on Monday after speculations over bilateral meet between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif during the SAARC summit gained momentum. BJP leader GVL Narsimha Rao said that Pakistan doesn't appear to be quite interested in having any bilateral meets. Congress leader Shashi Tharoor said that SAARC is a multi-lateral meeting and the government doesn't seem to make any preparations for any bilateral meet. New Delhi, Nov 24 (ANI): Reactions poured in on Monday after HRD Minister Smriti Irani paid visit to an astrologer's home in Bhilwara district of Rajasthan. Minority Affairs Minister Najma Heptulla reacting over Irani's visit said that astrology is a science and even she has faith in astrology. BJP leader Ram Madhav said that it is about one's personal faith and the issue should not be hyped. Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar said that HRD Minister should herself decide whether she believes in science or astrology. Congress leader Anand Sharma refused to make a comment on the issue. Smriti Irani meets Astrologer who says she will become President of India one day

New Delhi/ Bhilwara, Nov 24 (ANI): Controversy cropped up after Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani met astrologer Nathulal Vyas in Bhilwara district of Rajasthan along with her husband Zubin Irani. Smriti spent around four hours with the astrologer asking about her future. The Rajasthan-based astrologer predicted that Irani would become the President of India after five years. Nathulal is the same astrologer who had, in the past, predicted a bright career and big post for Smriti in her political career. When asked on the purpose of her visit, Irani said that media should not interfere in her personal life. New Delhi, Nov 24 (ANI): Political leaders expressed concern after China announced that it has completed a major hydropower dam on the Brahmaputra, called Yarlung Zangbo, in Tibet, even as Minister of state for home affairs, Kiren Rijiju said that the matter is under knowledge of government. The dam is bound to enhance fears in India and Bangladesh about flash floods and related risks like landslides involving lives of millions of people downstream.
