Nirbhaya rape case verdict: SC upholds death penalty for rapists, convicts' lawyer blames 'media pressure'

The Supreme Court had in 2017 upheld the death penalty awarded to the four convicts of the Nirbhaya gangrape and murder case by the Delhi High Court after which three of them -- Mukesh, Pawan Gupta and Vinay Sharma had filed a review petition. Akshay Kumar Singh has not filed any such request yet.
