People took camel rides and participated in events like cattle exhibitions, camel show along with other games. A local, Ashok Pank said that the festival is organised by Department of Tourism every year and gives a fillip to the industry. The Pushkar town was transformed into fair ground with rows of makeshift tents selling mouth-savouring delicacies. Bus Accident kills at least 14 in Himachal Pradesh

Chamba, Nov 02 (ANI): At least 14 people were killed and 11 others injured after a bus fell into a gorge in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. The private bus carrying 25 people was on its way to Himri in Saluni region when the driver lost control over the wheel and it fell into 100 feet deep gorge. While 12 people died on the spot, two others succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
