SC issues notice to Centre, Delhi govt over Kejriwal protest

New Delhi, Jan 24 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Friday issued a notice to the central government and the Delhi government on a PIL seeking action against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for violating the law while holding a constitutional position. The notice comes in response to a public interest litigation (PIL) filed by advocate ML Sharma which had questioned if a person holding a constitutional authority can sit on a dharna which is an unlawful act. Indian truck drivers urge govt to resume cross border trade with Pak

Poonch, Jan 24 (ANI): Truck drivers in Kashmir urged the government to take steps to resume the cross-LoC (Line of Control) trade that has been suspended by Pakistan over the past few days in the disputed valley. Reportedly, the suspension was in retaliation to the arrest of a Pakistani truck driver, who was detained by the Indian security forces while allegedly trying to cross the border with 114 packets of brown sugar.
