Narendra Modi meets Manmohan Singh

New Delhi, May 27 (ANI): A day after taking oath as prime minister of India, Narendra Modi on Tuesday met his predecessor Manmohan Singh at his residence. Modi earlier met heads of all SAARC nations including Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and had talks over terrorism and also 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Modi also thanked all the SAARC nations for accepting his invitation to attend his swearing-in ceremony. Singh had resigned from office on May 17 and Modi took over the responsibility on May 26. Kejriwal agrees to furnish personal bond, his petition to be heard on 31st Jul

New Delhi, May 27 (ANI): Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday has agreed to furnish the personal bond as suggested by the Court in the hearing regarding Nitin Gadkari’s defamation case. Kejriwal’s lawyer Prashant Bhushan stated that the High Court has agreed to hear his petition on 31st July and in the mean time proposed him to furnish the bond and get released from jail. He also said that Kejriwal agreed to furnish the bond pending the final outcome of the case. Meanwhile, Gadkari’s lawyer Pinky Anand said that Kejriwal did not intend to stay in jail and had to furnish the bond as he had no choice. She added that the Court will hear his petition on July 31.
