Congress supporters stage sit-in over Vyapam scam in Bhopal

Bhopal, June 26 (ANI): Congress supporters staged a sit-in protest accusing leaders of the ruling BJP being involved in the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board or Vyapam scam. Congress workers demanded a probe to be conducted by the CBI on the scam. Meanwhile, student body, National Student's Union of India also protested against the scam. Congress leader Satyadev Katare also accused Madhya Pradesh Chief Shivraj Singh Chouhan of being involved in the employment scam. He showed documents of the Public Service Commission Examinations to prove that Chouhan's niece was appointed as Deputy Collector by illegal means and also said that the former had changed rules to destroy evidence of irregularities. Militants blow up Revenue office building in Kashmir

Poonch, June 26 (ANI): Militants blew up an office of a senior revenue official in border district of Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir with a powerful explosion. Venkaiah Naidu flags off Metro services between Mandi House and Central Secretariat

New Delhi, June 26 (ANI): Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu on Thursday flagged off Metro services between Mandi House and Central Secretariat. The stretch would provide huge relief for commuters who get down at decongesting Rajiv Chowk station. Besides providing a one-point transfer to commuters headed from Central Secretariat for Vaishali and Noida. The 3 km-long underground corridors will have one station in between Janpath and is expected to benefit some 70,000 commuters. Snake lover in Kerala hatches 5 python eggs

Kannur, June 26 (ANI): A snake lover from Kannur district in Kerala hatched five python eggs successfully. Petting snakes is a passion for Rajneesh who is 26. He claims he was just eight-year-old when he caught the first snake, thinking it to be a fish. Ever since he has been catching snakes as the fear-factor began to fade. He claims to have caught over 4000 snakes so far. The snake lover said he recently got a call regarding a python being spotted in a nearby house and rushed to the spot to catch it but couldn't.
