Around midnight on May 31, the account of US President Donald Trump tweeted Despite the constant negative press covfefe and the Twittersphere lit up. In less than 10 minutes a newly created @covfefe Twitter account responded to him, it received 6200 retweets, the domain name covfefe.com was purchased and it spawned its own hashtags with tens of thousands of mentions.
