Maoists in Odisha kill road contractor and injure a villager

Narayanpatna, Jan 09 (ANI): Armed Maoist rebels killed a road contractor and injured a villager in a remote village of Odisha. The rebels attacked two villagers from Balipeta village in Koraput district after branding them as police informers. The body of one villager, said to be a road contractor, was found on Tuesday and the other was found with a bleeding slit throat and rushed to a nearby hospital.
