Speaking to mediapersons in New Delhi, BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that Modi is on terror radar and he should be provided SPG cover.

Joint military drill by India, China to combat terrorism

Beijing, Nov 7 (ANI): Indian and Chinese soldiers began an anti-terrorism exercise "Hand-in-Hand" in Chinese province with their eyes firmly on enhancing mutual trust and boosting cooperation between two of the largest and well-equipped armed forces in the world. The Indian contingent was led by Brigadier D.S. Shishodia along with the commanding officer Colonel Gaurav Srivastava. Shishodia said on Wednesday that the troops were mixed and organised in two companies in order to learn from each other. Exercise Hand-in-Hand formally begun at Miao Ergang which comes under Chengdu Military area. Miao is 150 km south of Chengdu. 150 Indian army contingents reached the Chengdu city on November 04, to take part in the anti-terrorism drills.

Blast in Imphal: One killed, Six injured

Imphal, Nov 07 (ANI): One person was killed and six others got seriously injured when a powerful bomb, exploded in Imphal. India-Bangladesh launch Joint Retreat Ceremony on eastern international border

West Bengal, Nov 07 (ANI): India and Bangladesh launched a Joint Retreat Ceremony at the Petrapole-Benapole border outpost at the eastern international border. Petrapole is located some 120-km north of Kolkata in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. Benapole is the Bangladeshi side of the border. The ceremony includes parades, march-past and lowering of the national flag of both the countries and will henceforth be a daily routine, at sundown, on the eastern border. Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, who attended the Ceremony, said Bangladesh and India share the same culture and heritage and the Joint Retreat will help both countries strengthen their ties. Shinde also said taht India has already initiated steps to simplify visa rules for businessmen, students and those seeking medical treatment as well as signing of the Extradition treaties.
