Central government draws flak for lack of security in riot-hit Muzaffarnagar

New Delhi/ Muzaffarnagar, Jan 8 (ANI): BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu has blamed the central government and the UP government for playing vote bank politics by keeping national security at stake. The ruling Congress party confirmed on Tuesday that Pakistan based militant outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) had come in contact with several riot victims affected by the communal violence in state. Naidu called it a high security related issue and said instead of focusing on the problem, the governments are playing political games. Meanwhile, CPI (M) leader Sitaram Yechury said being a question of national security, the matter should have been dealt without any political inclination. Jan 8, 2014
