Maoists victimize dead police informers family in red corridor region

Gaya, Feb 25 (ANI): Maoists victimize family of a dead police informer in “red corridor” region of Gaya in Bihar, demolishing and turning their houses and farmlands into ashes, leaving them in distress with no means of livelihood. Lamenting government's apathy, the family said that the authorities had failed to provide them any compensation or help for their survival. The Maoists had attacked house of Vijay Yadav after brandishing him as a police informer in March 2011. The rebels also looted the house before burning it down.
