According to Deputy Director, Corbett Tiger Reserve, Dr Saket Badola, the Bijrani zone has been reopened today while the other zones will reopen on 15th of November. Jim Corbett National Park was established in 1936 to safeguard the endangered tiger. It is primarily a tiger reserve but there are around 600 species of birds and animals - out of which 586 are birds.
