The rebels put their own price tags on goods sold by shopkeepers and ask them for their share of profit. Those who ignore their diktat, face tough punishment. The rebels pose as `messiahs’ of tribal farmers in Chhattisgarh and they ask local traders to buy produce at the price fixed by them. Maoist attack in Chhattisgarh kills four security officials

Chhattisgarh, Nov 28 (ANI): At least four paramilitary officials of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were killed in an ambush by Maoists in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. A road opening party (ROP) of the CRPF was on its way to a village for a civic action programme, when an improvised explosive device (IED) attack took place. The explosion was followed by indiscriminate firing by the Maoists and later a gun battle between both sides.
