Party leader Shyamal Chakraborty said that the West Bengal government is not looking at the problems of the workers who have not got their salary for the past 6 months. The CK Birla owned auto flagship Hindustan Motors, which has been making iconic brand- Ambassador, on Saturday declared suspension of work at its Uttarpara plant. The company sent a notice to this effect to stock exchanges citing low productivity, large accumulation of liabilties, critical shortage of funds and lack of demand for the core product-Ambassador cars as the reasons for the shut down. People in Allahabad were seen with their heads covered with scarves and caps and carrying umbrellas as temperatures reached around 42 degrees Celsius. Roadside juice vendors are also doing brisk business as local residents throng the shops for refreshing drinks. Kanpur, May 25 (ANI): An alumnus of IIT Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh has set up a water ATM to provide water to the common man at cheap rates. Though such ATMs themselves are not the first of their kind, being found in China already, they are quite the novelty in India. Vaibhav Bajpayee, an I.I.T. alumnus and the founder of Akshay Jal ATMs, aims to provide clean mineral water to the less fortunate at cheap rates.
