The ceremony was organised in New Delhi to give the official certificate to India for this achievement of eradicating the disease from the country. Chennai/ New Delhi, March 28 (ANI): Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and the Communist Party of India (CPI) hit out at central government after it abstained from voting on a US-sponsored resolution for probe into war crimes in Sri Lanka at the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC). The resolution was adopted as 23 countries voted in its favour, 12 against it while others abstained at the 47-member-state forum in Geneva. Kathua, March 28 (ANI): Suspected terrorists in army uniform launched a series of attack in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday killing one person and injuring others when they attacked an army camp close to the International Border with Pakistan. The injured are taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Army and police teams have been chasing the militants since 5 am, when the militants allegedly stopped a Mahindra Bolero vehicle on the Jammu-Pathankot highway and fired indiscriminately at the passengers.
