Somnath Bharti accuses Delhi Police of negligence after late night raid

New Delhi, Jan 16 (ANI): Delhi Law Minister Somnath Bharti carried out raids in South Delhi's Khirki Extension late night on Wednesday and is reported to have had a brush with the local police. Bharti and his supporters alleged that a sex trade and drug peddling racket was flourishing in the locality with the help of foreign nationals, mostly Nigerians. Army prepares comprehensive plans to fight infiltration in Kashmir

Akhnoor, Jan 16 (ANI): The Northern Command of Indian Army said that they have done a comprehensive analysis of the border areas in Jammu and Kashmir region and have defence plans to stop infiltration bid from across the border. Khaleda Zia dubs new government in Bangladesh as unconstitutional, urges for talks

Dhaka, Jan 16 (ANI): Bangladesh's opposition leader, Khaleda Zia, urged the ruling Awami League party to renew talks for forming a democratic government, dubbing the present government as 'unconstitutional'. Bangladesh's new government was sworn in on January 12, a week after the ruling party won a violence-plagued election that the opposition boycotted and amid growing international calls for fresh and inclusive polls. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's Awami League ended with more than two-thirds of seats in a contest that was shunned by international observers, terming them as flawed and derided as a farce by the opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). BNP leader and Hasina's bitter rival, Khaleda Zia, said the new government was not legitimate and unconstitutional, devoid of the representation of the people.
