Major fire breaks out in Bangladesh garment factory, 7 injured

Dhaka, March 07 (ANI): A major fire broke out in garment factory in Dhaka gutting property worth millions while five persons suffered severe burn injuries. The fire broke out around 05:45 pm at Green Leaf Apparels, located on the first and second floors of the building in the area known as Hazaribagh. Five persons were rescued by firefighters while an entire shipment of jackets was gutted down, said factory officials. Ten fire-tenders swung into action to douse the fire. Ukraine crisis worries India, National Security Adviser hopes for peaceful settlement

Indian customs officials recover 6 people with arms in Samjhauta Express

Attari, March 07 (ANI): Indian customs officials arrested six people, including two women at the Attari railway station in Punjab while they were returning from Pakistan on the Samjhauta Express that runs between New Delhi and Lahore. Eleven pistols and 22 empty magazines were seized from them. The alleged arms smugglers, who were coming from Pakistan, had hidden the arms in juicer and wheat mincing machines. Deputy Commissioner of Indian Custom Department, Gurdev Singh, said during routine check up of the luggage, the officials got suspicious and confiscated them.
