BJP proposes to place CBI under RTI, Politicos react

New Delhi, Sep 15 (ANI): Politicos react on Monday after BJP proposed that Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) should be placed under Right to Information Act (RTI). BJP leader Sambit Patra said that BJP wants a corruption free and transparent CBI. Supporting Patra, party leader Subramanian Swamy said that even he believes that CBI should come under RTI although an additional condition can be placed allowing CBI to choose the ongoing cases which shouldn’t be placed under RTI. Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit said that although CBI should be transparent, but revealing details of important cases could be dangerous. Tibetans-in-Exile expect India to raise their concerns with visiting Chinese President

Dharamshala, Sep 15 (ANI): Tibetans-in-exile from Dharamshala expect Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, to discusss their concerns with Chinese President, Xi Jinping, during his visit to India later this week. A Tibetan-In-Exile, Lobsang Yeshi on Sunday said that the people of Tibet expect that Modi will discuss issues of human right violations inside Tibet with Xi. Xi Jinping is scheduled to visit India between September 17 and 19. Speaker of Tibetan Parliament In-Exile, Penpa Tsering, said that the whole world is undergoing tremendous change politically and in Asia also, now there is a lot of dynamism in terms of country-to-country relations. Mumbai, Sep 15 (ANI): Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray, on Sunday, addressed a press conference and said that the discussion over seat distribution is going on with its ally BJP. He added that it won't be appropriate for him to say anything negative regarding seats at this point as discussion is on. Thackeray added that he wanted the alliance to be maintained. Hungry flood victims look forward to food supply with repaired roads in Kashmir

Rajouri, Sep 15 (ANI): Road repair in Kashmir made rapid progress as people stranded in the flood waters in Rajouri district awaited desperately for access to food and medicine. Authorities of Border Road Organisation (BRO) worked on a war footing to revive the roads damaged by landslide and facilitate communication with the rest of the state. Flood alert issued in four districts of Bihar and Jharkhand

Bihar, Sep 15 (ANI): The Governments of Bihar and Jharkhand have sounded a flood alert in the four districts of Rohtas, Aurangabad, Arwal and Bhojpur following the release of three lakh cusecs of water from the Rihand Barrage after heavy rainfall. According to reports, both governments are keeping a close watch on the evolving situation. The water level in the Sone River is yet to rise to the danger mark.
