India loses Davis Cup World Group playoff to Serbia

Bangalore, Sep 15 (ANI): India missed its chance to return to the World Group as tennis player Yuki Bhambri lost 2-3 to Serbia's Filip Krajinovic in reverse singles in Davis Cup on Monday. The match was halted due to rain on Sunday night (September 14) and Krajinovic was leading 6-3 6-4. It continued on Monday morning and the Serbian took just about an hour to beat Bhambri 6-3, 6-4, 6-4. Bhambri, ranked 153, made as many as 64 unforced errors while Krajinovic, ranked 107, made 38.
