New Delhi, Feb 13 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday accepted that it had failed to gauge the pulse of the people and vowed to extend all cooperation to the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Delhi. The office bearers and district presidents of the Delhi BJP held a review meeting in the national capital to discuss the future course of action in wake of the debacle in the assembly elections. SC stays arrest of activist accused of fudging funds for 2002 riots victims

New Delhi, Feb 13 (ANI): The Supreme Court of India on Friday (February 13) stayed the arrest of social activist in an alleged misappropriation of funds case till February 19. The court asked both Teesta and the Gujarat government to file relevant documents before it. The apex court ruling came after the Gujarat state High Court rejected Setalvad's anticipatory bail plea in the case. She is accused of embezzlement of funds collected on behalf of 2002 riot victims in Gujarat. In January 2014, police had registered a case against Setalvad, her husband Javed Anand and others for allegedly usurping rupees 15 million collected by them in form of donations for turning the colony into a riots museum. Karnataka train derailment: PM Modi condoles loss of lives

New Delhi, Feb 13 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday condoled the loss of lives due to the derailing of the Bangalore-Ernakulam Inter City Express near Anekal in Karnataka this morning. "Saddened by the loss of lives due to derailing of Bangalore-Ernakulam Express. Condolences to the families of the deceased," Prime Minister said. "I wish the injured a speedy recovery. Railway Minister and officials are closely monitoring the situation and ensuring timely relief", ", the Prime Minister further said. The Indian Railways confirmed earlier in the day that ten persons had lost their lives and over 17 others were critically injured in the incident.
