"I bow to the epitome of courage and bravery and the pride of India, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on Shivaji Jayanti," Prime Minister Modi tweeted. "Shivaji Maharaj shone on the battle field and left a mark in administration. He touched several lives through his good governance," he added. Bihar BJP MLAs may support Jitan Ram Manjhi during vote of confidence, Politicos react

New Delhi/Patna, Feb 19 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday stated that the central leadership will study the ongoing political crisis in Bihar and will announce its decision with regards to supporting ousted Janata Dal (United) and Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi at the floor of the state assembly 'very soon'. Meanwhile, JD (U) leader Ajay Alok accused the BJP of orchestrating the crisis in Bihar. CPI leader CPI leader Atul Anjan also expressed similar sentiments. New Delhi, Feb 19 (ANI): Supreme Head of the Universal Syrian Orthodox Church, Ignatius Aphrem-II urged nations to unite against militancy saying that its victims were not members of a particular religion. Speaking with mediapersons in New Delhi, Ignatius Aphrem-II expressed his concerns over brutal killings by the militants of Islamic State and repeated attacks on churches in India’s national capital. The insurgent group has expanded its reach around the Arab world. The group, on February 15 released a video showing the beheading of 21 Egyptian Christians. Ignatius Aphrem-II, who is on an 11-day visit to India, arrived in Kerala on February 7. During his visit he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi and discussed the series of attacks on churches.
