Cricket association of Bihar urges SC to make names in final probe report public

New Delhi, Nov 26 (ANI): Cricket association of Bihar has urged the Supreme Court to make the names of cricketers mentioned in the final probe report of Indian Premier League (IPL) scam public in the interest of the sport. Advocate Harish Salve, appearing for Cricket Association of Bihar (CAB), asked the Supreme Court to disclose the full Mudgal committee report while also producing in the court IPL accreditation documents that show Gurunath Meiyappan as the team principal of Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Petitioner Aditya Verma said he has full faith in the court to deliver justice in the case. The Supreme Court had relieved Srinivasan of his duties as the country's cricket board president to ensure a fair investigation into the IPL scam, in which Meiyappan was indicted for illegal betting on the 2013 IPL.
