Ten water tankers deployed to tackle water scarcity in Gujarat

Rajkot, Jan 19 (ANI): Ten water tankers were sent to Kutch district in Gujarat to meet the water demands of the villagers. The tankers were flagged off from Rajkot city by state's water minister Vijay Rupani. Rupani added that the state government is fully prepared to tackle water supply problem during summer season. Encounter in Jharkhand kills Maoist, two arrested

Jamshedpur, Jan 19 (ANI): An encounter between security personnel and Maoists in Jharkhand killed a rebel and injured one policeman. Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of India's paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and police arrived in Jamshedpur district to track Maoists in the area. The injured police officer has been admitted to a hospital. The police also arrested two Maoists and recovered weapons.
