Poetry magazine gathers poets to enthrall discerning Delhi audience

New Delhi, Jan 17 (ANI): The Poetry Society (India) and the India International Centre organized a poetry session on Friday on the theme of "Images of Life in Changing Times: Poetry from 'The Seventh Quarry" here. The 'Seventh Quarry' is a poetry magazine published in Swansea and Wales. The session was attended by seventeen renowned and distinguished poets from all across India and the idea was to underline the importance of poetry in contemporary times. Multi-lingual forms of poetry was on show as poets recited their poems in English, Urdu and Odiya in a wonderful manner. The Seventh Quarry magazine has given honour to Indian poets by bringing a special issue. Kathmandu-based Indian diplomat-poet Abhay K. also read some of his poems at the event. Jan 17, 2015
