New Delhi, Jan 17 (ANI): A new study has recently provided a deeper insight into how filthy mobile phones are that people use in their daily life. The study revealed just how much bacteria is on the phone and it's pretty gross, an online portal reported. Bacteria use all sorts of things as vectors in order to transmit insects, water, food, coughs and sneezes, or sexual contact. Many of the phones showed the biggest and clearest blotch of bacteria growing around where the "home" button was. Most of the bacteria is harmless but disgusting. Jan 17, 2015

Child rights activist and Congress leader called it inappropriate and against the very fabric of Indian Constitution. Although, following the shameful act, McDonalds India said that appropriate action would be taken in case of any act of breach. The McDonalds India issued a statement wherein it said, “We shall be examining if our employees have in any manner breached basic courtesy and respect and take appropriate action. We wish to affirm that we treasure and respect everyone in equal measure and do not support any form of discrimination. New Delhi, Jan 17 (ANI): Outgoing Central Board of Film Certfication (CBFC) member Ira Bhaskar on Saturday said the resignation of all members was in support of Leela Samson, the former chairperson of the statutory board. She also said that a joint letter of resignation in which nine people have signed was submitted. Bhaskar, a professor of cinema studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University also cleared that the reason for resignation was not the movie Messenger of God (MSG). Bhaskar also said that the Board continued working on extension even after its term was over. Bhaskar resigned on Friday after Leela Samson stepped down as the board's chairperson. Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis meets Ram Vilas Paswan; seeks extension of subsidy on raw sugar exp

New Delhi, Jan 17 (ANI): Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis met Food Minister Ram Vilas Paswan on Saturday and sought extension of subsidy on raw sugar exports and hike in import duty on the sugar to 40 percent to help cash-starved mills clear cane arrears to farmers. Fadnavis also demanded creation of buffer stock of 50 lakh tonnes of sugar at factory level in the state and increase mandatory ethanol blending with petrol from the current 5 percent to 10 percent.
