New Delhi, March 03 (ANI): Political leaders on Tuesday voiced against 'VVIP culture' in different states after Haryana Chief Minister ML Khattar's convoy ran over a pedestrian in Karnal district. BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao said that Khattar is a simple man adding that the chief minister and other ministers should see that they avoid such arrangements. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that political leaders consider themselves to be Gods after coming to power and they should avoid the same. AAP leader Ashutosh also condemned the very culture of using such facilities. NCP leader Tariq Anwar and DCW Chairperson Barkha Shukla also slammed the 'VVIP culture' and said that the political leaders should join with the people and that the leaders are foe the service of the citizens. India condemns racial discrimination against Sikh boy in US, calls for action

New Delhi, March 03 (ANI): India on Tuesday condemned racial attack against a Sikh boy in the US state of Georgia and called for action by the government of India as well as the US over the same. A young Sikh boy in US has been called a "terrorist" by a group of school children, with the video of the abuse now going viral on the Internet. In the video posted on Inquisitr, the bespectacled Sikh boy is seen sitting in what appears to be a school bus and is surrounded by students. The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) President, Manjit Singh GK condemned the incident and said that a survey says that 60 per cent of Americans doesn't know who Sikhs are, 48 percent of Americans think Sikhs are Arabs or Afghans. Singh further appealed to the Government of India to hold talks with the American Government over awareness about Sikhs. Faridabad, Mar 3 (ANI): Haryana Chief Minister ML Khattar on Tuesday said that an FIR has been registered against the driver of the pilot car of his convoy which ran over a pedestrian killing him. Two policemen in the CM's pilot vehicle also sustained injuries in the accident that happened on the national highway near Karnal on Monday night. He added that a compensation of Rs 5 lakh has been provided to the family of the victim. Khattar called the incident unfortunate and said that he will ensure that such incident does not repeat. Delhi Gang Rape convict blames victim for fatal assault, Nirbhaya's parents accuse 'judicial system'

New Delhi, March 03 (ANI): Delhi Gang Rape Victim's parents accused 'loose judicial system' in India for the convict's statement wherein he blamed the victim for the fatal sexual assault. Driver of the bus in which the rape took place, Mukesh Singh said that, "Women who go out at night have only themselves to blame in case they attract attention of male molesters." He also said that women are not equal to men and are meant for household chores and asserted that the victim should not have fought back and should have remained silent and allowed the rape. Talking about the death penalty, Singh said that death penalty will only make things more dangerous for girls, in that because men will then the rapists will not leave the girl and 'will kill her after that'. Reacting on the same, Nirbhaya's parents demanded strict laws and judicial systems from the Modi government.
