Jasmine Warren, who fought off would-be carjackers in Atlanta on 7 May said she forgives the two men who attempted to steal her car outside a gas station. CCTV footage shows Warren returning to her car after paying for filling it with petrol when she was confronted by two young men in white hoodies. One pointed a handgun in her face, ordering her to hand over her keys.
The men entered Warrens vehicle at Exxon past station, 20 miles outside of Atlanta and attempted to drive off, but Warren opened the door and tried to pull out the carjacker from the drivers seat, while the other opponent tried to pull her off his partner-in-crime.
Warren managed to take hold of her keys from the ignition and run to the shop to safety, when tTime the criminals fled the scene.
Though unsure whether the gun pointed at her was loaded, Warren says that the young perpetrator repeatedly warned her that he was going to do it.

They were just as scared as I was. When I looked at that little boys eyes he was just as scared as me. Honestly, he was fumbling.
Addressing the men directly on-air, she forgave the two suspects: Youre wrong for trying to rob from me. Its not the end of the world for you. It doesnt mean that you cant change and make changes in your life. Its up to you and Im willing to help you make those changes.
It doesnt make you a bad person. Youve done something bad but you can always be forgiven for it.
