The fiancee of an Australian Justine Ruszczyk, also known as Justine Damond, who was fatally shot by Minneapolis police over the weekend said he and his family are desperate for information about the case, during a news conference on Monday (July 17).Ruszczyk had called 911 over a strange noise behind her home, but was shot dead when police arrived. The probe into her shooting turned, on Monday , to why the officers body cameras were not on at the time. Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges and the American Civil Liberties Union called for answers on why responding officers failed to turn on their body cameras when they arrived at the home of Ruszczyk in a quiet, upper-middle-class neighbourhood shortly before midnight Saturday.Police shot Ruszczyk, originally of Sydney, through the door of their patrol car as she approached them in an alley near her home, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported.Both officers have been placed on administrative leave, the state BCA said. A dramatic blast in eastern China has been captured on video, showing a van hit a parked semi-trailer on a highway near Hangzhou in Zhejian province. Surveillance footage showed the van taking a bend and brushing against the parked truck on the shoulder of the highway.
