The clip, released by Islamic State (Isis) through agency al-Amaq, purportedly shows Berlin Christmas market attack suspect Anis Amri pledging allegiance to the group’s leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Berlin truck attack suspect Anis Amri shot dead in Milan

Anis Amri, the suspect in the Berlin Christmas market truck attack, has been shot dead by Italian police on 23 December. Italys interior minister Marco Minniti told a news conference that without any shadow of a doubt the man was the 24-year-old Tunisian, and that he died in a shootout with police in a Milan suburb. A prison wing at HMP Swaleside, Kent, was taken over by 60 inmates on 22 December. Inmates took control of a wing of the Category B training prison on the Isle of Sheppey, before specialist Tornado teams were sent in to quash the riot.
