Having started out as a Lecturer in English in various colleges in Dharwad and Bangalore, Shekhar began his journalism career with MacMillan India. He worked with Oneindia (Filmibeat) for seven years before joining IB Times India in 2014. He interviews actors, directors, producers and technicians and heads the team that covers Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi film industries. A post graduate in English from Karnataka University, Shekhar has nearly nine years of experience in online journalism.
