SP City of Patna, Shivdeep Lande said that the police officer was conducting investigation in some case which is why he inquired from a cyber cafe owner regarding a case of issuing SIM card on a fake identity. He added that the cafe owner was threatened by the police officer to drag him into a fake case if he does not pay a certain amount of money, allegedly bribe. New Delhi, Jan 04 (ANI): Five people were injured after members of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) clashed in Tughlakabad area following an aggressive debate in a TV news channel. Workers of both the parties pushed each other, pelted stones and abused each other using derogatory remarks. A car was set ablaze following the feud giving an ugly turn to the incident. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Meenakshi Lekhi said that the clash was a result of AAP's frustration. Meanwhile, AAP leader Ashutosh said that it is in BJP's nature to spread violence. Army, police and paramilitary forces under the unified command structure are carrying out joint operations in the strong hold areas of tribal guerillas in the forest terrain. The massive patrolling along the India-Bhutan border areas has been intensified while the army is searching out militants hidden deep inside the Ripu and Chirang reserve forests in Kokrajhar and Aie-Valley division in Chirang district. The border in the two districts has also been sealed by the security forces as NDFB militants could sneak through border areas. Kolkata/ Jaipur, Jan 04 (ANI): Security has been beefed up at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata city of West Bengal following a threat to an Air India flight. The booking office of Air India, in Kolkata, received an anonymous threat call on Saturday that an Air India flight will be hijacked. However, the exact details of the flight which is likely to be targeted are not known. It has also not been ascertained yet whether or not the call was a hoax. Reacting to the hijack threat, Aviation Expert Harshvardhan asserted on the need to take even the smallest threat very seriously. A passenger Manju Jaana said that she arrived early at the airport in view of the increased security at the airport and was ready to cooperate with the officials. Traditional martial arts competition in Thiruvananthapuram sees more female participation

Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 04 (ANI): More than 350 students, mostly girls, participated in the ongoing National Championship of ‘Kalaripayattu’ (traditional Indian form of martial arts) in Thiruvananthapuram. This is the 56th edition of the championship which will culminate on Sunday. Kalaripayattu is the oldest form of fighting which originated in Kerala. It is the oldest fighting system in existence which includes strikes, kicks, grappling, preset forms, weaponry and healing methods. Secretary General of Indian Kalaripayattu Federation, Poonthura Soman, appreciated the increased female participation. In ancient days, both men and women practiced this form of art to stay fit and healthy. It also helps one to increase their concentration level.
