John Abraham endorses Yamaha motorbike at Auto Expo

Greater Noida, Feb 08 (ANI): Bollywood actor John Abraham, who is also the face of Japanese bike maker Yamaha, endorsed new models at the 12th edition of Indian Auto Expo in Greater Noida. The Auto Expo grabbed eyeballs as automobile giants like Range Rover, Hyundai, Suzuki and Yamaha showcased their glistening state-of-the-art models. Abraham, who is the brand ambassador and a fan of Yamaha bikes, launched the power pact upgraded versions of Yamaha's R1 and VMax motorbikes. A number of concept cars, utility vehicles and many new models were launched at the opening day of the automobile show at a time when the sector is going through a slump. Feb 8, 2014

L&T Finance Holdings and Muthoot Finance were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 7.65% and 7.20% along with Tata Steel and TV18 Broadcast with an increase of 6.82% and 6.54% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include Financial Technology and Power Finance with a decrease of 4.99% and 4.63% along with Idea Cellular Ltd and MRF Ltd with a decrease of 4.48% and 3.25% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 105.41 points at 11,806.52 while the banking sector is up 75.78 points at 11,744.18 and the realty sector is up 12.08 points at 1,205.08. Jet Air India and Tata Communications were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 10.93% and 7.78% along with Coal India Ltd. and Power Finance with an increase of 4.59% and 4.53% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include Indiabulls Real Estate and Prestige Estates with a decrease of 3.36% and 3.33% along with IRB Infra and Jaiprakash Associates with a decrease of 2.96% and 2.70% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 98.72 points at 11,701.11 while the banking sector is down 26.63 points at 11,668.40 and the realty sector is down 19.05 points at 1,193.00.
