RJD, JD (U) coming together to create an illusion: BJP

New Delhi, July 28 (ANI): The BJP on Monday targeted RJD Chief Lalu Yadav and JD (U) leader Nitish Kumar over their alliance in Bihar. The two former chief ministers will share stage while campaigning for by-elections to 10 assembly seats to be held on August 21. JD (U), RJD and Congress have formed a "grand alliance" to take on BJP in the bypolls in Bihar. Mixed reactions flow as China intrudes in India again

New Delhi, July 28 (ANI): A fresh incursion by the Chinese has been reported in the Demchok area of Ladakh in Jammu and Kashmir. Political leaders on Monday reacted as China intruded in the Indian territory once again. BJP leader Subramanian Swamy said that incursions keep happening from both sides but what is important is the trouble which the locals have to face. Congress leader Manish Tewari said that such incursions are condemnable and government should take action. RJD leader Manoj Jha stated that BJP used to make fake promises about keeping our borders secure. HC issues notice to Naqvi in paid news case

New Delhi, July 28 (ANI): As the Delhi High Court issued notice to BJP Vice President Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that this is a fit case and that further course of action will be taken as required. Notices have also been issued to Kirit Somaiya and an independent candidate who had filed the complaint against Ashok Chavan. Delhi HC stays EC show cause notice to Ashok Chavan in paid news case

New Delhi, July 28 (ANI): In what can be called as a temporary reprieve to Congress leader Ashok Chavan, the Delhi High Court on Monday put a stay on the Election Commission showcause notice sent to him after he was found guilty in the paid news case. AAP Poster row: Somnath Bharti says Police acting under BJP govt, arrest unlawful

New Delhi, July 28 (ANI): Reacting on arrest of Four Aam Aadmi Party activists by Delhi Police who were pasting posters for defacing public property, party leader Somnath Bharti said that the police are acting under the BJP government and on their orders. Bharti said that the police never arrested Congress and BJP workers for putting up non-sensical and illogical posters and that they are working on behest of the central government. The AAP claimed that pasting posters was not a _crime_. Political leaders condemn attack on Northeast couple

New Delhi, July 28 (ANI): Political leaders on Monday condemned the brutal attack on a couple from Northeast. According to reports, the couple was beaten by four men in Nathupur, Gurgaon. The attackers were armed with knives and started beating the couple. The husband received injuries on the head and is being treated at Nelekanth hospital in Gurgaon. Auto rickshaws go on a day long strike against Delhi Police

New Delhi, July 28 (ANI): A large number of auto rickshaws in New Delhi are observing a day long strike against the Delhi Police on Monday. The drivers alleged highhandedness of policemen and said that they are troubled as police officials ask for bribe, threatening the drivers to impose heavy fines unnecessarily. Vice President of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Rajendra Soni, said that the drivers are highly troubled by such bullying attitude of police. Gurgaon, July 28 (ANI): Private Detectives Association of India President Kunwar Vikram Singh on Monday said that bugging at Union Minister Nitin Gadkari's residence is a serious issue. He said that Private Detective Agencies (Regulation) Bill, which is pending in Rajya Sabha should be passed in order to stop such incidents. Singh also said that the regulation of the bill will stop bugging by the foreign detective agencies in India.
