AAP must introspect and give answers to questions raised: Harsh Vardhan

New Delhi, Jan 27 (ANI): After Aam Aadmi Party expelled Vinod Kumar Binny, BJP leader Harsh Vardhan said that the party should now introspect things and give answers to the questions raised by the people. He said that Binny was asking the questions to which he himself have not got any answers till now. The BJP leader further said that AAP, who protests to save their ministers, should also act in certain way against the rape cases taking place on the national capital.

Sanjay Nirupam ends fast over power tariff cut after Maharashtra CM's assurance

Mumbai, Jan 27 (ANI): Congress leader, Sanjay Nirupam, who was on a hunger strike over electricity tariff reduction in Mumbai ended his fast after intervention from the Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan. After calling off his agitation, Nirupam said that he will continue his strike until power companies in Mumbai do not slash their tariffs. Nirupam said that he ended his fast owing to the assurances of the chief minister of Maharashtra, Prithviraj Chavan.

At least 21 die after tourist boat capsizes off Andaman Islands

Port Blair, Jan 27 (ANI): At least 21 people died after a boat carrying tourists capsized off Andaman Islands, officials said. A boat with some 40 odd people sank on Sunday, and some 13-15 have been rescued, as rescue operations are underway, officials told. Officials said there were no foreign tourists on board.
