Politicos react as Shanta Kumar claims UPA's Food Act more about 'vote security'

New Delhi, Jan 23 (ANI): Politicos reacted on Friday after Former Food Minister and chairman of the high level committee on Restructuring the Food Corporation of India (FCI) Shanta Kumar claimed that the National Food Security Act (NFSA) passed during the UPA regime's tenure was more about "vote security" than "food security". BJP leader Sambit Patra expressed his agreement with Shanta Kumar's view on Food Security Act. BJP leader Sudhanshu Trivedi said that the UPA without providing adequate food security kept on doing vote bank politics. Noida, Jan 23 (ANI): Chief Election Commissioner of India HS Brahma on Friday said that the poll panel will ensure that assembly elections in Delhi take place efficiently. He said that the campaigning is going on and that the panel will ensure that all voters come and vote comfortably, and that all the doubt and grievances of the voters will be solved. Brahma also talked about security arrangements in and around the polling booth. He also announced the helpline number 1950 and asked the voters to clear their doubts on the same. Further, talking about the notice issued to AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal, Brahma said that there is a way of expressing and it differs from person to person. Obama will be accompanied by Michelle Obama on his three-day trip and is expected to travel to tour Taj Mahal, about 200 km south of the capital. Meanwhile, weavers in temple town of Varanasi were busy preparing popular 'Banarasi sarees' for Michelle Obama that will be gifted by Modi to her.
