New Delhi, Feb 11 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee on Wednesday (February 11) met governors and lieutenant governors of states and union territories to discuss emerging challenges and other issues. The two-day governors conference will discuss issues like security, with main focus on borders, finance, sanitation, employment and on achievement of flagship schemes and projects. This is the first conference after Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government came to power in May last year. As per media reports, plans like Modi's 'Swachh Bharat' or Clean India campaign, skill development, etc will also be discussed. Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley were also present at the conference.
