AAP rift: Politicos react after Bhushan slams one person-centric campaign, calls for swaraj

New Delhi, March 02 (ANI): Politicos reacted on Monday after AAP senior leader Prashant Bhushan accused the party of running a "one person-centric" campaign that revolved around Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal during the Delhi elections. AAP leader Dilip Pandey who had also written a letter to the party expressing his grievances said that he doesn't want to bring his grievances in the public domain. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said that Kejriwal should look into the matter. NCP leader Tariq Anwar said that an internal clash in party at such an early stage is not good. Australian deputy PM says MH370 search may be called off

Australia, March 02 (ANI): The search for missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 cannot go on forever, Australia's deputy prime minister said, and discussions are already underway between Australia, China and Malaysia as to whether to call off the hunt within weeks. No trace has been found of the Boeing 777 aircraft, which disappeared one year ago this week, carrying 239 passengers and crew shortly after taking off from the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur, bound for Beijing. More than two dozen countries have been involved in the air, sea and underwater search for the missing plane. Australian Deputy Prime Minister Warren Truss said that a decision would have to be taken well before May as to whether to continue into the massive 1.1-million-sq-km area around the primary search area if nothing is found by then. International agriculture fair held to promote organic farming in the Northeast

Guwahati, March 02 (ANI): The second edition of 'Assam-International Agri-Horticultural' show in Guwahati was an indication of continuous effort to promote modern farming techniques and organic farming in the state. With a participation of 425 stalls from 12 countries and 25 multinational companies, the fair provided an opportunity to state farmers to gain knowledge of global farm technology. The event, organised by the state agriculture department, was inaugurated by Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh. The foreign participants displayed their farm technology; organic produce, genetically developed vegetables and medicinal products. Assam's Department of Agriculture also displayed organic products including vegetables, flowers and food grains. Congress party protests fuel price hike by Modi government

Bengaluru, March 02 (ANI): The youth wing of Congress party staged a protest in Bengaluru against the fuel price hike by Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government. State run Indian Oil Corp raise the retail price of petrol by 5.5 percent and that of diesel by 6.6 percent from Sunday, as global prices of the two fuels have risen since the last revision. Family of four electrocuted in Maharashtra

Nanded, March 02 (ANI): Four members of a family died of an electric shock in a slum in Nanded district of Maharashtra. Among the dead were a man, a woman and two toddlers. The unfortunate incident occurred when the family was sleeping on an iron bed in the night when due to rain water current circulated in the entire house. A relative of the deceased family members, Zahed said the Maharashtra State Electricity Board (MSEB) officials demand bribe whenever residents approach them for installing meters. Jagmohan Dalmiya set to return as BCCI president

Chennai/ New Delhi/ Kolkata, March 02 (ANI): Veteran administrator Jagmohan Dalmiya is set to be the president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as he was the lone nominee for the elections scheduled for Monday. The Supreme Court had barred incumbent Narayanswami Srinivasan, who is also the president of International Cricket Council (ICC), from participating in BCCI affairs till charges of conflict of interest or commercial interest in cricket were clear against him. Dalmiya garnered the maximum support of the six East Zone units, whose turn it is to propose a new President, and his rival Sharad Pawar failed to get requisite backing. Dalmiya, 74, is the president of Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), who also held the top post in the BCCI many times and also headed ICC once.
