Three-day International Aviation Conclave kicks off in New Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 11 (ANI): The three-day International Aviation Conclave focussing on promotion of aviation, global cooperation, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and other policies began in New Delhi on Thursday (December 11). The conference-cum-exhibition is being organised by aviation firm Beta Aviation, under the support of the Indian Civil Aviation Ministry, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and the US-India Importers Council. The theme revolves around "Empowering Aviation: Encouraging Stability Towards Sustainability" and aims to showcase the growth potential for aviation in the Indian economy. Modi said that it was a great pleasure for him to host President Putin in New Delhi. Modi was speaking after talks with President Vladimir Putin aimed at revitalising ties that have focused on the import of defence equipment. It was the first annual summit meeting between Putin and Modi. The two leaders had met on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in Brazil in July and during the G-20 summit in Australia last month.
