Ukraine: Four dead after bus runs over land mine

Four Ukrainian civilians were killed when a minivan carrying them drove over a land mine as they waited to cross out of separatist-held territory in eastern Ukraine on 10 February, Ukraines authorities said. Three passengers died instantly and another later from their injuries from the explosion around 12 miles southwest of the rebel-controlled city of Donetsk, with one passenger surviving the blast. Ethopia: Food aid to run out without $245m from donors

Emergency food aid for 10m Ethiopians hit by the worst drought in 50 years will run out in April unless donors provide $245m (£169m) by the end of February, the charity Save the Children said. Without additional funds, there could be a potentially catastrophic escalation in severe acute malnutrition among children, it said, which means they are likely to die without therapeutic feeding.
