Grenfell Tower blaze sparked by fridge says Scotland Yard

Detective Superintendent Fiona McCormack, who is overseeing the investigation, said the cause of the fire was a faulty Hotpoint fridge-freezer. The Metropolitan Police investigation confirmed that the blaze was not started deliberately.
