BCCI to take final call on next President: Sunil Gavaskar

Mumbai/ Vizag/ New Delhi, March 28 (ANI): Following the Supreme Court’s proposal to appoint Sunil Gavaskar as the interim chief of the BCCI, Gavaskar said that it is for the board to take the final call, as the board is all set to surface its decision over the proposal on Friday. Earlier, The Supreme Court called on BCCI Chief N Srinivasan to step down to ensure a fair probe in IPL Spot fixing case. MoS for Parliamentary Affairs and former chairman of IPL, Rajiv Shukla refused to comment on the pronouncements of Supreme Court. Kathua, March 28 (ANI): Suspected terrorists in army uniform launched a series of attack in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday killing one person and injuring others when they attacked an army camp close to the International Border with Pakistan. The injured are taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Army and police teams have been chasing the militants since 5 am, when the militants allegedly stopped a Mahindra Bolero vehicle on the Jammu-Pathankot highway and fired indiscriminately at the passengers.
