New Delhi/ Pune, March 28 (ANI): Supreme Court on Friday gave a ‘balanced decision’ on IPL Spot-fixing case that Sunil Gavaskar should take up as BCCI interim president while N Srinivasan should step down. Justice Mukul Mudgal said that this is a balanced decision and that it will maintain the interest of the players and also the purity of the game. Former Cricketer Chandu Borde also welcomed the decision and said that Gavaskar would improve the image of cricket in the minds of people. Further, MoS for Parliamentary affairs Rajeev Shukla said that this is a welcome decision and that Srinivasan himself offered to step down, which is a good development.
