David Bowie: Fans lay flowers at Ziggy Stardust plaque in London

David Bowie fans began to lay floral tributes in London on 11 January, just hours after news broke confirming the singers death. Bowie died on 10 January, aged 69, after an 18-month battle with cancer. Fans and media started arriving at 23 Heddon Street in Londons West End, where a plaque commemorates the spot where Bowie posed for the cover of his iconic album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars. Golden Globes: Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet describe wins backstage

After revenge drama The Revenant and space adventure The Martian took the top film awards at the Golden Globes on 10 January, the films stars spoke backstage to reporters about their wins. Steve Jobs, a controversial look at the late Apple co-founder that floundered at the box office despite warm reviews, took Golden Globes for Kate Winslet and Aaron Sorkin in the best supporting actress, drama and best screenplay categories respectively.
