Man arrested for kicking woman down stairs at Berlin U-Bahn station

A man who is suspected of kicking a woman down a flight of stairs at a Berlin underground station has been arrested. Police have detained the 27-year-old. The woman tumbled down the stairs, falling face first onto the platform below – she broke her arm in the fall and had to be treated in hospital. The incident happened in late October, and video shows a young woman being followed into the Hermannstrasse stop by a group of men, one of whom kicks her in the back, causing her to tumble down the stairs.
